Great jacket and material. Here’s my suggestions

Make wrist cuffs either Velcro or elastic. It’s hard to get to my watch when I want to check time. Pocket zipper tabs are quite small. Would be nice to have knotted cords on them to pull up or down. But these are small suggestions. The jacket itself is great if you want to be seen in headlights, and we all want to be seen in headlights—unless we are toilet papering someone’s trees.

Hartford Jacket

Am not impressed by the men’s Hartford jacket. It feels a little small all around, particularly in the chest and shoulders. The fabric allows air circulation, which is ok, but I’ll be wearing this jacket mostly during the winter when it’s dark (and cold) out, so I’m not so concerned about air circulation. The back pocket is only a fold over closure, so don’t plan on storing anything of value in there which could fall out. These are all minor issues which would annoy me if I had not bought the jacket on sale. However, if you are buying this jacket because it is highly reflective, then you will disappointed. The video posted on the company’s website shows runners in dark surroundings wearing glowing coats. This is deceptive, bordering on fraudulent. They must be shining a spot light on the coats from the level of the camera lens to make it glow like that. It’s the only scenario where the jacket would appear to glow in the darkness. A more common scenario is for a car’s headlights to shine on the coat and in that instance the jacket is not nearly as reflective/visible to the driver as the video would lead you to believe. In my option, since the car’s headlights must be shining on the jacket, then you’d be better off wearing a high visibility yellow jacket or vest.
