This is to update my previous non-review, now that the jacket has actually arrived (big USPS delay). It's true to size, looks great, is roomy enough for comfort and maybe a fleece layer underneath, but not baggy. My husband wore it for over an hour in the rain and reports that it is indeed waterproof, and that the back vent is helpful for not getting overheated. Jacket body is very reflective in headlights, without making you look like you're the airport ground crew.
I can’t really give feedback, as the item hasn’t arrived yet. I’m told by USPS "Your package will arrive later than expected, but is still on its way. It is currently in transit to the next facility. ” This year is a mess for package delivery. Was hoping to get it by Christmas for a gift, but it’s not looking good.
So Far so good. It is a shell. I have worn it almost every day since receiving it. It has been raining a couple of days. As the temps have been a little warm and I'm walking several miles a day I am sweating on the insides so it's hard to tell about the water not getting in. I love the weight. When cars approach they definitely move to the center of the road. I also use a flashlight also to make sure vehicles avoid me.
The woman who answered(!) my inquiry was excellent, friendly and professional. A rare experience. She deserves a raise.
The quality, look, and fit of this "Colorado Waterproof Reflective Men's Jacket" satisfied a discerning consumer, our son, who used it immediately after opening his early Christmas gift and now wears it continually on his daily cycling commutes to work and home in the District. He loves the added protection and attractive look of the jacket which has already kept him dry and visible on many dark, rainy bicycle rides. For the busy professional who rides/commutes often at night, this is a must!
